We've said goodbye to 2013 and welcomed 2014 in with high hopes of a good year to come. Most see the new year as a fresh start, which often seems funny as for many the 1st January is met with a thick head from the night before! However, whether you feel like the new year brings fresh hope and exciting possibilities, or for you it's just another day, the beginning of the year is a great chance to evaluate your business.

For many companies January can be a fairly quiet time of year, of course this doesn't apply to every business, but generally speaking

Happy 1st Birthday Marketing Fizz!

Time is precious especially in the business world and can often be the main cause of stress, missed deadlines, targets not met and money lost. 

When you look at your day and the things you need to fit into it, is it you setting yourself unreasonable tasks for the time you have or are you also falling victim to time killers?

When it comes to marketing your business it is easy to get caught up with what "does our company want" and thinking "how do we get customers". Now I understand what you may now be thinking "well of course I'm thinking that, I want my business to succeed!"

But lets think about it for a moment. Yes the ultimate goal is to attract customers and make money, but when you're planning your marketing activities are you thinking about your company or your customers?
